Cincinnati went 1-1 this week. They lost a game a lot of people expected them to lose to Kansas, and they won a game they honestly should have one and they did it in comeback fashion. I give the Bearcats credit, they went into Allen Fieldhouse, probably one of the most feared places to play in college basketball, and they kept it close. They lost the game, but they had Kansas sweating a little bit in their own house.

Now, yes the Bearcats won the game against UCF and did it in a great comeback fashion, but they were at home. They are 12-2 at home with losses to Texas and Oklahoma, but UCF is a team they know and are very familiar with. I was surprised they went down by 12 at halftime and had to fight and scratch to claw thier way back into that game.

I think Cincinnati is like UCF, they could make a run to get into the NCAA Tournament, but they have a tough road ahead of them against against a lot of ranked teams. I decided to keep the Bearcats at nine int he rankings this week because while I was impressed that they stayed in the game with Kansas, I feel like the game against UCF should not have needed a comeback win.
