Now, I am a UCF fan, and as a UCF fan, I can admit I did not think the Knights were going to even win one conference game, let alone three so far. UCF has impressed me at times, but they have also really let me down at other times. The Knights have the No. 12 ranked offense in the Big 12, but what has helped win them games is their third-ranked defense.

After big wins over Kansas and Texas, the Knights took on West Virginia and old American Athletic Conference foe Cincinnati. UCF looked impressive on offense against West Virginia with their ability to have a lead and hold it for the entire game. However, they then went and blew a 12-point lead over against Cincinnati to drop to 3-4 in the conference.

While UCF doesn't look like they are going to make the NCAA Tournament, I guess they could surprise everyone and make a run. However, going 1-1 and blowing a big lead against Cincinnati means UCF only gets to move up one spot in these power rankings.
