The Mountaineers have shown flashes of promise and talent, beating Kansas and Texas at home. However, in games where they are matched up well, they fall short. They gave an 0-6 Oklahoma State team their first conference win this past week. They went to Orlando, Florida earlier in the week to take on UCF and never gained a lead, lost by double digits, and thier best player RaeQuan Battle got ejected in the second half.

West Virginia is just playing to get through the season at this point. While they have a lot of very talented players, they need another year or two under Eilbert to figure things out. Unfortunately, two straight losses dropped the Mountaineers to the bottom of the power rankings.
