Big 12 basketball Power Rankings: Kansas State falls, Houston heating up

There has been a big shakeup in the Big 12 basketball Power Rankings. the Big 12 continues to beat up on each other, so this is how the ranking shook out this week.

I know, the Red Raiders are still the top team in the Big 12 based on conference record and this was a tough one to choose for who was going to be No. 1 this week. However, I think the wins the No. 1 team had were just slightly more impressive than Texas Tech's this week. The Red Raiders are rolling with only one loss in the Big 12 and that is what is catching my eye.

However, if you look at their wins, they aren't blowing people out. Their games this past week were decided by seven and one point. The Red Raiders are impressive don't get me wrong, but can they sustain this till the end of the season? That is what I feel they need to prove moving forward.

Another team came in a took over the No. 1 spot forcing me to drop Texas Tech to No. 2, but I wouldn't be surprised if they made it back to the top very soon.
