. . . 461. 3. 16-4, 5-2 Big 12. . . big 12 power rankings.

Last Week: 6

If Iowa State could play all of their games at home, they would in a heartbeat. The Cyclones are so unstoppable at home that they are daring people to come in and try to beat them. However, it is not like they can't win away from home either.

The Cyclones have now won three games in a row, one away and two at home. Their two conference losses come from Oklahoma when they were rolling and at BYU when they had the home-court advantage. The Cyclones have a chance to make it five straight as they take on a struggling Baylor team and a Texas team that in my opinion has lost their identity.

Iowa State can ride thier fourth-ranked offense and second-ranked defense to the Big 12 Championship and the NCAA Tournament. Last week I wasn't convinced if Iowa State was for real and now I am and that's why they moved up to No. 3 in the rankings this week.
