Big 12 basketball Power Rankings: Kansas State falls, Houston heating up

There has been a big shakeup in the Big 12 basketball Power Rankings. the Big 12 continues to beat up on each other, so this is how the ranking shook out this week.

TCU hit a bump in the road against Cincinnati and Iowa State, but they are back on the right track now. They won a game they should have against Oklahoma State, but what is more impressive was that they won a game against Baylor in triple overtime. Triple overtime!

The Horned Frogs are an interesting team. They have a strong offense ranked third in the Big 12, but their defense is No. 12 in the Big 12. I almost feel as though since conference play started, I haven't heard a lot about TCU until this overtime game. So while I think they will probably make the NCAA Tournament and may even make a run at the Big 12 Championship, I need to see more.

TCU made a big jump in these power rankings this week though, they showed they can win and they can continue to climb is they show they can win consistently.
