Big 12 basketball Power Rankings: Kansas State falls, Houston heating up
I don't think I can say this enough. The Big 12 is the most competitive conference in college basketball. Just when you think one or two teams are coming out of the woodwork as a tip team, they go and get beat. Only one team has been consistent this season, and that is Texas Tech, but can they sustain this?
Houston had a couple of tough games, but since then, they have dominated even more on defense. Iowa State is daring opponents to come into their house and try and beat them. Kansas shows again they can't fix their road struggles. Kansas State has shown its biggest weakness.
The Big 12 standings were shaken up this week. Here is a look at the current Big 12 standings up to this point. The rankings are as of Monday, January 29 before the AP Top 25 rankings were released.
