Right now it is looking like Texas could miss the NCAA Tournament and that is something no one saw coming. Texas has been so up and down this season that if they don't figure out the problem now, they won't be making the tournament.

Texas lost in a nailbiter in overtime to Houston earlier in the week but bounced back to beat TCU, who is ranked, but they are ranked No. 25. The Longhorns are in the middle of the pack in the Big 12 with the ninth-ranked offense and eight ranked defense. Sometimes they lost to teams they should beat and then show up in the big games.

It is hard to move Texas up a lot in these rankings because they are so up and down, so I moved them up one spot because of the solid win over TCU. They need to do a lot more to move up more than one spot.
