Big 12 Basketball Power Rankings: Kansas State falls again, a familiar No. 1 ranking

Kansas State has lost four games straight while Houston had their winning streak snapped. Kansas is suddenly back at the top of the Big 12 standings. Time to see how the power rankings will shake out this week.

Well ladies and gentlemen, it was only a matter of time before Kansas made it to the top of these power rankings and I am not going to lie, I was hoping it wasn't going to happen. However, I can not deny that they deserve to be here. The Jayhawks had Houston come into Allen Fieldhouse and beat them with ease.

The Jayhawks showed everyone why they have run this conference for years. Houston was the top team in the conference and the Jayhawks have struggled this year, but that didn't matter, Kansas got the job done.

Kansas still has tough games ahead, including two against rival Kansas State. While the Wildcats are struggling right now, the still always seems to be a physical matchup and the Jayhawks need to be ready for it.
