After being 3-3 in the conference and sitting in the middle of the standings, the Bears found a way to put together back-to-back quality games and find wins. They beat a UCF team that is tough to play in Orlando with that crowd, and then went home to Waco and beat a very good Iowa State team.

Baylor is making their case again as to why they could win this conference and that they deserve a high seed in the NCAA Tournament. It will be a tough road ahead with quality teams still left on their schedule, but the out match a lot of the teams going forward. They can afford to drop a game or two against the better-matched opponents as long as they win the games they are favored in.
