BYU just never seems to quit and that is what I like most about this team. The Cougars were 2-4 going into this past week of play and are now at an even 4-4 sitting in the middle of conference standings. They had two convincing wins over Texas and West Virginia, teams they should have beat.

So if they beat teams they should have beaten, why still have them this high in the rankings? Well, that is because that is something good teams in this conference have struggled with. Winning these games gives the team momentum into the big games about the teams at the top of the conference.

BYU is starting to earn its seat at the table and I for one am excited to see how things play out with this team going forward.
