Believe it or not, Kansas State football has never played these FBS teams

Kansas State football vs. Current Independents

Of the few current independents, there are only two at the moment that Kansas State has not faced.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish: Notre Dame is fairly close to Kansas State, but as a high-powered independent, they play a lot of other top teams in their conference. The Fighting Irish also play mostly ACC teams, even though they aren't in the ACC. This would be a very interesting matchup to see with two historical programs. It would be a game fans would love to see in Manhattan.

UConn Huskies: Distance is most likely the factor in this one. UConn has also moved around the conference quite a bit which could make it difficult to get them on a schedule. A matchup probably won't happen anytime soon.
