Kansas State is set up for a bounce-back game after a game against BYU in which it all got away from the Wildcats in the span of six minutes. Oklahoma State, the team K-State will welcome into town this weekend, is coming off a loss where Utah was able to take the lead and not relinquish it, even with a backup quarterback in the game.

Both teams are looking to have get-right games this week, but only one will be able to walk away with the win. Kansas State gets the added advantage of playing at home this weekend, but that doesn't guarantee them anything.

Kansas State head coach Chris Klieman is just 1-4 against Oklahoma State since joining the Wildcats back in 2019. The good news is that their last win came at home in Bill Snyder Family Stadium where the Wildcats beat the Cowboys 48-0 and went on to win the Big 12 Championship later that season.

Now, Kansas State needs a win to help keep them in the best spot possible to make the Big 12 Championship at the end of the season and possibly even the College Football Playoff with an automatic bid.
