Now a lot of people call the Big 12 Tournament the Bill Self Invitational. Kansas usually dominates the Big 12 every season, but this year has looked a little different. The Jayhawks have six losses for just the second time in the Bill Self era.

Kansas State did beat the Jayhawks earlier this season, but they have not beaten them in the Big 12 Tournament since 1993. The Jayhawks have won 11 conference tournament titles and know how to get it done in March.

No one wants to see the Jayhawks in the Big 12 Tournament, this season it may not seem as scary, but if we know anything about a Bill Self Kansas team, they are always scary. Kansas State has also been so up and down this season that they should still hope to avoid their in-state rival in the Big 12 Tournament.
