After four seasons at Louisville, Russ Yeast made the move to Kansas State to play for Chris Klieman. Yeast made an immediate impact with Kansas State with 47 total tackles, 10 passes defended, four interceptions, and one forced fumble.

Yeast was a ballhawk for the Wildcats with four interceptions in his lone season at Kansas State. The Wildcats had a great defensive line, but their secondary needed work, and Yeast was the perfect missing piece.

After his time at Kansas State, Yeast went on to be drafted by the LA Rams and while he is not a starter yet, he gets playing time and has done well for the team.
