Markquis Nowell played two seasons at Kansas State and it is what helped him get drafted into the NBA. His final season at Kansas State was by far his best and it is what helped the Wildcats reach the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament.

Nowell averaged 17.6 points per game in his last season at K-State along with 3.5 rebounds, and 8.3 assists. A lot of people discounted Nowell because of his size and stature, but Jerome Tang took that and ran with it, creating plays that showed off Nowell's speed and ability to make the craziest shots at the basket.

Nowell became a household name during his final season at Kansas State and his presence definitely was a game-changer for the Wildcats and it helped Tang adjust in his first season as a head coach.
