. . Safety. 1. 515. Kansas State transfers. 2022-2023. Kobe Savage. Kobe Savage. player

As a transfer from community college at Tyler JC, Savage spent two seasons with the Wildcats. In those two seasons, Savage was one of the leading tacklers for the Wildcat with 58 total tackles in his first season and 57 in his second. He had six interceptions in his two seasons with the Wildcats and one forced fumble.

Savage was one of the best cornerbacks on the Wildcat's roster but decided to make the move for his last year of eligibility. Savage is heading to Eugene to play for the Oregon Ducks in the Big Ten. With the talent Savage had, and how thin the cornerback room is, keeping Savage around would have been ideal for the Wildcats, but unfortunately, another one bites the dust.
