Fritz Knorr was a coach at Kansas State for only two seasons, but he struggled in those two seasons. At a time when Kansas State was in the Big 6 before it became the Big 8, Knorr never coached his team to a winning record.

Here is a break down of Knorr's record at Kansas State.

1944-1945: 10-13 overall
1945-1946: 4-20 overall

After a rough first season with the Wildcats, Knorr struggled even more in his second season leading to him being fired in 1946. Knorr was coaching football and baseball at this time as well. After being fired from basketball he went on to be a very successful wresting coach for the Wildcats.
