Kansas State MBB. 83-90 overall record. . 463. . 2000-2006. Jim Wooldridge. 3. Jim Wooldridge. player

Jim Wooldridge was so close to not having a losing record at Kansas State. The same can not be said about his Big 12 conference record. Wooldridge never had a team that had more than six wins in the Big 12. His final two teams had winning records at Kansas State, but that and a win in Allen Fieldhouse are just about the only good thing to say about his time at Kansas State.

Here is a breakdown of Wooldridge's time at Kansas State.

  • 2000-2001: 11-18, 4-12 Big 12
  • 2001-2002: 13-16, 6-10 Big 12
  • 2002-2003: 13-17, 4-12 Big 12
  • 2003-2004: 14-14, 6-10 Big 12
  • 2004-2005: 17-12, 6-10 Big 12
  • 2005-2006: 15-13, 6-10 Big12

The only way Wooldridge could have saved his job in 2006 was with an NCAA appearance since he had not been invited to that tournament or the NIT during his time at Kansas State. With no appearance, Wooldridge was fired in 2006 and replaced by Bob Huggins.
