3 worst coaching hires in Kansas State basketball history

Jerome Tang is still young when it comes to head coaching careers and Kansas State fans love him. Here are some coaches that fans weren't so fond of.

There have been a lot of coaching legends to lead the Kansas State Wildcats on the hardwood. Names like Lon Kruger, Frank Martin, and Tex Winter come to mind. These guys took the Wildcats to many NCAA Tournaments, and won lots of awards, but could never bring the Wildcats a National Championship.

These coaches for the most part are still beloved, or at least liked for what they did for the team. The Wildcats have seen one National Championship game, and been to four Final Fours, 14 Elite Eights, and 18 Sweet Sixteens in 32 NCAA Tournament appearances. Many coaches contributed to this success at Kansas State, but not every coach was great.

Some coaches never had an NCAA appearance and some that could barely win at all. So here are the three worst coaching hires in Kansas State basketball history.
