Week 4 of college football is officially in the books we are a quarter of the way through the regular season. Every top 10 team that played this weekend walked away with the win, some more convincing than others.

The SEC is still dominating the top rankings and showing that even with conference realignment, they are still the top conference in the country. However, some teams are showing they are truly contenders with each week, while others might have been pretenders all along. The Missouri Tigers are a team that a lot of people were very high on, but after a close overtime call against Vanderbilt, they may not be whoever they thought they were.

The Tennessee Volunteers are moving their way up with convincing wins behind quality quarterback play. The Big 12 is proving to be even more open than everyone thought, especially after Kansas State's tough loss to BYU.

So, after a lively Week 4 slate of games, here are my predictions on who will make the College Football Playoff come the end of the season.

Georgia and Ohio State have yet to lose their top two spots in the playoff predictions as they have dominated so far this season. The Bulldogs had a close call against Kentucky but will be able to show what they are made of against Alabama this week.

Even after the tough loss against BYU, I believe Kansas State has the best shot to win the Big 12. The Wildcats are going to learn a lot from their loss and be a better team because of it. I have said it all season: the margin between Utah and Kansas State is razor-thin, and that is why the Utes have found themselves back in my prediction.

After yet another close call against a team that Notre Dame should have beaten, the Fighting Irish dropped out of the rankings for the first time this season. Alabama made their entrance back into the rankings, even after a bye week being one the top teams. Finally, Boise State is still the best Group of Five teams at the moment, leaving them in the rankings for another week.
