NFL Draft 2026: TV channel, live stream, schedule, dates, how to watch
The NFL Draft will take place April 23-25 in Pittsburgh. Opening night features only the first round with the Raiders selecting first overall.
The second and third rounds follow on Friday with rounds four through seven, and the final pick made on Saturday. Coverage will span a number of platforms, including ESPN, ABC, and NFL Network.
Other networks like CBS Sports offer a 24/7 streaming network. Thursday's picks will also stream on FUBO TV. An extensive order for this year's draft can be found on ESPN.
How the NFL Draft works
In the first round of the draft, each team has 10 minutes to make a selection. During that block, they can either opt to make the pick or trade it away. If they opt to make a first round selection, they've got 10 minutes to select a player. After that time frame expires, the next team jumps ahead.
Running out the clock on draft day doesn't mean a team loses its pick, just that the next team in line can make its selection first. Likewise, the biggest names fall off the board in the opening rounds with slightly lesser-known prospects following in the final two days.
At its conclusion, players can still be signed. Many who aren't drafted later become undrafted free agents, and can still find their way onto a roster.
