The Wildcats made a strong statement in recruiting Monday, pulling in their second offensive line prospect of the day and fending off stiff competition from Power 4 programs.
Kansas State landed three-star prospect Justin Morales out of El Paso, Texas.
Morales, a 6-foot-4, 265-pound lineman from Franklin High School, announced his decision on social media.
“First and foremost, I want to thank God, my family, and my coaches for helping me get to where I am now,” Morales posted on X. “Beyond blessed to announce that I have committed to @KStateFB. #EMAW #AGTG”
He becomes the seventh overall commit in the Wildcats’ 2026 class and the fourth offensive lineman.
Earlier in the day, Kansas State also received a pledge from fellow three-star OL Keegan Collins.
Morales chose the Wildcats over offers from several Power 4 programs, including Baylor, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Arizona State, Arkansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, and Texas Tech.
He is rated a .8578 in the 247Sports Composite, ranking as the No. 65 offensive tackle nationally and the No. 119 overall prospect in Texas.
Known for his strong footwork and physical run-blocking ability, Morales brings a high motor and a gritty, downhill style that fits well with Kansas State’s offensive identity. He projects as a versatile lineman who could grow into a multi-position role.
Kansas State is looking to rebuild its offensive front after losing both starting tackles from the 2024 season. Easton Kilty declared for the NFL Draft, while Carver Willis transferred to Washington.
The interior of the offensive line returns key experience, anchored by center Sam Hecht and veteran guard Taylor Poitier. Andrew Leingang also returns with starting experience, while the unit will get additional depth from incoming transfers Amos Talalele (Cal), George Fitzpatrick (Ohio State), Terrence Enos (Michigan State), and J.B. Nelson (Penn State). Redshirt freshmen John Pastore and Gus Hawkins are also expected to be in the mix for playing time.
After going 9–4 last season and edging Rutgers in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl, the Wildcats are hoping momentum carries into 2025 and beyond—with Morales adding toughness and versatility to a reloading offensive line unit.
