Kansas State guard rightfully nominated for college All-Star Game

Kansas State women's basketball had its title hopes dashed in the semifinal round of the Big 12 Tournament, but the accolades keep rolling in for one of the team's storied veterans.

Kansas State senior guard Tess Heal reportedly earned another nomination on Saturday, being named a finalist for the 2026 Lilly Women's College All Star Game. It's another accolade on top of Heal's already impressive resume.

Heal is the fourth member of a Wildcats team to earn the nomination in the last three seasons, ranking among Ayoka Lee and Gabby Gregory in 2024 and Serena Sundell in 2025. She was a 2026 All-Big 12 Third Team selection, averaging 15.5 points per game during conference play.

According to ESPN Stats, Heal ended the season third in scoring, with 10.8 points per game while shooting over 30% from three-point range.

She finished 13th in the Big 12 in scoring, fourth in field goal percentage and third in free throw percentage, logging double figures in 13 of her final 15 games.

Her career spans four seasons, including 128 games, 1,809 points, 443 rebounds, 385 assists and 104 steals.

Heal joined the Wildcats after twos seasons at Santa Clara from 2022-24 and a lone year at Stanford in 2024-25. She spent just one season playing for the Wildcats.

The game will be televised on ESPN2 on April 4 at noon.
