Kansas State and Iowa State will make the long trip across the pond to Dublin, Ireland as they will kick off the 2025 college football season in Week 0 in the annual Aer Lingus College Football Classic. Even with the 2025 season still so far away, certain big games in the season already have some early betting lines.
With Kansas State and Iowa State playing the very first game of the season, their early betting line has already been set, but of course it is subject to change over the next several months.
Clearly the oddsmakers believe Kansas State will have the edge in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic as they have made the Wildcats a 3.5-point favorite over Iowa State.

The Kansas State-Iowa State rivalry, otherwise known as Farmageddon, as both schools are well-known for their agricultural programs at the universities. This has been a close fought rivalry for years as Iowa State just barely edges out the Wildcats in the series 54-50-4.
In recent years, Kansas State has not had a lot of luck against the Cyclones, losing the last five of seven matchups, some of them coming at the biggest time of the year at the end of the season where Kansas State was playing for something big.
The last two seasons, Kansas State has fallen on the last week of the season, closing the door on the Wildcats' chances at a Big 12 Championship appearance and a College Football Playoff appearance. This is Kansas State's chance to start the season off with a big win over a tough opponent, one that has been a thorn in their side for quite a few years.
The line could definitely move as more things come to light in coming months, especially after spring ball, but as of right now, Kansas State remains the early favorite or an international win.
