This is a very special opportunity for both schools to lay on a Major League diamond. It’s a chance not many at this level get.
To step on to the same dirt as George Brett and Frank White, or the same grass as Bo Jackson, is a treat to anyone who has dreams of making in the big leagues.
To get the opportunity to play on a diamond where less than two short years ago, the Royals were celebrating a World Series win, in and of itself will be a thrill.
Walking through a Major League clubhouse, sitting at the lockers of Eric Hosmer, Lorenzo Cain, Mike Moustakas, Salvador Perez – that feeling has to be unbelievable.
So, if you want to be there to cheer on the BatCats, you can head over to the Royals website or Kansas State’s website for purchase.
