Kansas State defensive back Morgan Burns took a Oklahoma State kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown in the opening minutes of Saturday’s game against the Cowboys.

Oklahoma State marched down the field in the opening 3:12 to go ahead on the No. 8 Wildcats 7-0. But on the ensuing kickoff by Kip Smith, this happened:

The Wildcats are now sitting with a comfortable 21-7 lead as time winds down in the first half. But given how Oklahoma State came out of the gates, this play seemingly shifted the momentum before it could even settle in with the Cowboys.
