With the week off to recoup and regroup following a loss to Texas that shouldn’t have been, the Wildcats still have a lot going on around campus this week. Here are a few of our headlines:
The Wildcat volleyball team dropped its conference opener to West Virginia on Friday. The Mountaineers won 3-1 (25-16, 18-25, 25-22, 25-22), and dropped K-State to 12-2 on the season.
The women’s tennis squad completed the first of two days of play at the Hoosier Classic in Indiana.
Receiver Mike Stevens, a Kansas State football recruit, had eight catches for 106 yards and two scores on Friday night for Davidson Day.
With official practices underway, the basketball season is open for business.
