Single-Game Football Tickets Available June 6

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Single game tickets for K-State’s seven 2012 football contests atBill Snyder Family Stadium will go on sale Wednesday, June 6, in an exclusive online sale only at www.k-statesports.com.
Fans can begin purchasing tickets in person or via telephone through the K-State Athletics Ticket Office at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 11. A number of season ticket locations also remain available as sales near record marks in the program’s history.
The Wildcats’ 2012 home slate will feature four Big 12 Conference games, including matchups with rival KU and 2011 bowl game winners Oklahoma State and Texas, and a highly anticipated non-conference tilt with ACC member Miami. The 2012 season gets underway Saturday, September 1, with the fourth-annual K-State Family Reunion against Missouri State.
K-State fans have stepped up and shown their excitement for the 2012 season by closing in on a record number of season ticket purchases. Currently, K-State is approximately 700 tickets away from the all-time public season ticket sales record set in the 2001 season. And now, fans can secure their seat in Bill Snyder Family Stadium and provide a sold-out atmosphere through a variety of single game ticket options.
“Ticket sales are certainly indicative of the anticipation for the 2012 football season,” said Athletics Director John Currie. “Not only are we currently running about 3,500 season tickets ahead of same-date sales compared to last year, but we are also approaching a record total. We appreciate the support of our grass-roots fans who travel every week and help provide our student-athletes a world-class experience by filling Bill Snyder Family Stadium each week and look forward to seeing the stands packed with purple this fall.”
Back again in 2012 are several single-game promotions that will continue to provide fans even more flexibility. A limited number of $15 tickets to the home opener against Missouri State will be available for one week only from June 6 through June 13. Premium bench seating will be priced at $35 for the Missouri State and North Texas contests, while bench seats are $25 each. A four-pack of tickets to either game is available for just $75 if purchased by August 1, while group and military discounts are available for $15 per ticket. K-State will also host both Band Day and University Family Day during the game against North Texas.
The Miami (Harley Day) and KU games will be available for $85 (premium bench) and $75 (bench) per ticket as the Hurricanes make their first trip to Bill Snyder Family Stadium, and the Jayhawks return to Manhattan for the first time since the 2009 season.
Tickets for the Texas Tech (Homecoming), Oklahoma State (Fort Riley Day) and Texas (Senior Day/Fan Appreciation Day) games are priced at $65 (premium bench) and $55 (bench) each, with group and military discounts available for $20 per ticket. Fans can also donate tickets to military personnel and their families for Fort Riley Day for just $20 online or by calling the ticket office. A four-pack to either the Texas Tech, Oklahoma State or Texas game is also available for just $99, but must be purchased by October 1 (Texas Tech and Oklahoma State) or November 1 (Texas).
Fans can also purchase a two-game combo package for $70 which includes one bench ticket to either Texas Tech or Oklahoma State and a bench ticket to the Texas game. K-State Alumni Association members can secure $20 tickets for the game against Texas Tech by purchasing before August 31 and providing their Alumni Association membership number.

Kansas State returns 14 starters, eight on offense and six on defense, in 2012 while also returning its kicker, punter and long snapper. The Wildcats will be led by senior quarterback Collin Klein and linebacker Arthur Brown, both All-America candidates, while the squad also welcomes back 2011 Walter Camp All-Americans Tyler Lockett and Nigel Malone. In all, K-State returns 10 players from 2011 that earned midseason or postseason All-Big 12 honors from various media outlets.
