K-State Day at the K Set for June 3

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State fans will have the opportunity to fill Kauffman Stadium on Sunday, June 3, as the Kansas City Royals host the Oakland A’s for K-State Day at The K presented by FOX Sports Kansas City and Kansas Sampler.
Fans will be able to pick up season ticket information for K-State football and volleyball home seasons at the game, which is set for a 1:10 p.m., first pitch. Former Wildcats Mark Simoneau, who was recently elected to the College Football Hall of Fame, and Tysyn Hartman, now a member of the Kansas City Chiefs, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
Not only is it a Family Funday Sunday at the ballpark, but the first 750 Wildcat fans who bring their K-State Day discounted ticket to the K-State table located just inside Gate B directly to the right of the spiral ramp will receive a limited edition purple and white KC Royals K-State Cap. Gates open at 11:30 a.m.
Additionally, K-State fans are invited to arrive early to tailgate in a special reserved tailgating spot in Lot N.
