For Kansas State Baseball, It’s Win Or Go Home

For K-State, it’s truly come down to that simple, cliched equation: win or go home. If Brad Hill’s squad wins this weekend’s series (which starts tonight) over Texas Tech, they will be in the Big 12 tournament. If they lose the series (even 2 games to 1) they will be out, if KU can manage to take even one game over the Missouri Tigers in their own 3-game set in Lawrence.

Coach Hill has said that he told his guys to pack for ten days, in anticipation of making the tournament. While that may seem presumptuous, given that the Cats didn’t win their first Big 12 series of the season until last weekend, perhaps their coach’s confidence will inspire them to move forward by winning their first Big 12 road series of the season.
