Kansas State cracked the top 25 in a big way this week defeating Baylor at home. The Wildcats ended up at #20 in the AP poll and #21 in the USA Today’s. With Missouri coming in a week, followed by a visit to Texas Tech and KU, I think K-State could stay there for a bit but there’s a beast of a slate coming at the end of October until Thanksgiving. The biggest danger right now is a team seeing this as finally getting respect and become complacent with their season too soon. Being ranked after 4 games doesn’t mean a whole lot. Let’s hope Arthur Brown and the boys see this as exactly what it is and keep on keeping’ on. Check back tomorrow for the good, bad, and ugly of the Baylor game.
Ranked. Don’t Get Too Excited.
