Ahhhh the Weekend

After a weekend that made it seem like everything was getting worse, it’s actually been a great week for K-State fans. Having five days to remember the Massacre in Manhattan and watch endless highlights on television/internet will do that! Nothing cures the basketball blues like watching your school and teams be praised… especially when it’s for something they did to the rivals. This weekend could easily continue that feeling as Kansas State will welcome the Oklahoma Sooners to the site of last Monday’s beat down. Oklahoma comes in at 12-13 (4-7) and shouldn’t be a problem for the Wildcats but could provide a good test to see if Monday was a fluke or something to build on. At home, this should be a solid double digit win. Anything less will be cause for a little concern and a loss would be catastrophic. A win on Saturday could provide a nice winning streak possibility when K-State travels to Lincoln to play Nebraska. 3 wins in a row heading into the HUGE three day stretch that includes at Missouri and home vs. Texas would be as good as it gets. If you are in Manhattan, get to the game Saturday and make the Octagon of Doom just as crazy as it was for Kansas! EMAW!
