Following a bit of a hiatus, the Jug of Snyder is back. As the site’s new editor, I’m transferring over from Arrowhead Addict where I contributed weekly columns defending Matt Cassel and Scott Pioli, causing many a reader (and the Fansided editors) to question my sanity. My goal is to establish this portal as a valuable convergence of news, information, analysis, and entertainment for aggievillagers, overseas fans, and everyone in between. Expect a bias towards football and basketball coverage, although I’ll do my best to make sure information regarding K-State’s amazing volleyball team, record-setting track stars, and other athletes receive their due notoriety as well. In the process I’ll likely be using EMAW in absurd ways, incorrectly utilizing it as a verb, noun, or adjective (e.g., Collin Klein sure EMAWed up today).

Be on the lookout for the roll out of traditional social media accessibility as well when we get our Facebook and Twitter on – although it’s easiest to just set up an RSS feed. In the mean time we’ll be experimenting with a few different features and bringing on additional writers to provide their unique perspectives and set me straight on why I never bought into the Nigel Malone hype.
