Kansas State finished the 2011-12 season ranked 24th in the nation in average attendance with 4,069 per game coming through the turnstiles. It is the fourth straight season and the ninth time in the last 11 seasons that K-State has finished among the top-25 in average attendance.

For the second straight season, K-State was the Big 12 champion and one of 33 winners in the NCAA Division I “Pack the House” Challenge. The 12,528 fans to witness the Feb. 4 game between the Wildcats and eventual national champion Baylor was a season-high in Bramlage Coliseum and was the highest attended women’s basketball game in Bramlage Coliseum since March 31, 2006, when K-State hosted the WNIT Final in front of a sell-out crowd of 13,340.

The 2012 sell out was the ninth-largest crowd to view a women’s basketball game since Bramlage Coliseum opened in 1988 and the 15th largest crowd to witness a home women’s game in the program’s 44-year history.

The Wildcats return seven letterwinners and two starters from the 13th NCAA Tournament squad in school history, including All-Big 12 selection and All-America candidate Brittany Chambers. The Wildcats registered an overall record of 20-14 and a 9-9 mark in Big 12 action which resulted in a tie for fourth in the league standings. Head coach Deb Patterson, K-State’s all-time wins leader, returns to the sidelines for her 17th season in Bramlage Coliseum.

To purchase season tickets, fans may order online at www.kstatesports.com/tickets, by phone at (800) 221-CATS or in person at the K-State Athletics Ticket Office located in Bramlage Coliseum.
