Complete Academic All-District Teams

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State heptathlete Ryann Krais has seen much success on the track and in the classroom throughout her career, and the senior added to that on Thursday as she was named to the Capital One Academic All-District Team. Krais was selected to the first team in District 7 as voted on by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America.

Krais graduated earlier this month with her degree in psychology and a 3.95 GPA and recently won the heptathlon at the Big 12 Conference Championship. She currently ranks No. 8 in the NCAA in the event heading into next week’s NCAA Championship in Des Moines, Iowa.

This is the second time Krais has been selected to the Academic All-District Team as she was voted on in 2010 when she was a member of the UCLA Bruins. She was not eligible last year due to transfer rules. Krais also was named Academic All-Big 12 First Team this season.
