Kansas State University announced the date for the football team’s annual Spring Game. Mark you calendars Cat fans!

Kansas State Football announced their date and time for the annual Spring Game. This year’s game will be taking place in a familiar locale.

The annual Purple and White game boasts a squad fresh off it’s victory over Texas A&M in the Texas Bowl, back on Dec. 28, 2016.

Early indications for K-State this coming season are positive. An eventual return to post-season play is expected and even a better bowl game as well.

The date for this year’s game is April 22, 2017 at beautiful Bill Snyder Family Stadium!

More details will come at a later date, but as for now, the game will be on the 22nd and will begin at approximately 1:10 PM CST.

You can check out kstatesports.com for more information as well. Tickets for the game will cost $5 and will be broadcast on KStateHD.TV along with radio coverage.

The Wildcats return 18 members from the 2016 team, 14 of which were starters. Those include D.J. Reed (Big 12 Defensive Newcomer of the Year) and Reggie Walker (Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year).

Suffice it to say our defense will be stout. The questions come on the offensive side of the ball. I for one, will be interested to see how the offense takes shape.

And don’t forget Cat fans, National Signing Day is just around the corner. Keep with us as we hope to bring you post signing day coverage of all the new Wildcats.
