Kansas State Cruises To 48-14 Win Over Oklahoma State

The Oklahoma State Cowboys came right out of the gate and scored a touchdown in the opening four minutes. They also scored the final touchdown. But Kansas State dominated the time in between as the 9th-ranked Wildcats cruised to a 48-14 win in Manhattan, Kansas Saturday night.

Running back Tyreek Hill was unstoppable in Oklahoma State’s opening drive. Five runs for 36 yards and a 34-yard reception by Hill culminated in a 2-yard TD run to jump out to an early 7-0 lead.

But then, on the ensuing kickoff, Wildcat DB Morgan Burns took the kick 86 yards for the score, tying the game at 7-7.

It was all Kansas State after that.

Waters was virtually flawless, getting it done when he had to both in the air and on the ground as well. This game was put away by the end of the 3rd quarter and Waters’ backup came in to finish the game.. QB. Kansas State Wildcats. JAKE WATERS. A

Wildcats QB Jake Waters finished the night completing 19 of 28 passes for 223 yards and 2 TD in the air and another 34 yards on the ground as the Wildcats improved to 7-1 (5-0 Big 12) on the season.

The Wildcats now head to No. 7 TCU who beat No. 20 West Virginia 31-30 in double overtime on Saturday.
