K-State Volleyball’s Pelger Earns Second Weekly Conference Award Time This Season

WIBW reports that middle blocker Kaitlyn Pelger is proving to be the best player on the best team in the Big XII (a stately status I’ve bestowed upon her). The team went 2-0 this week by welcoming West Virginia to the conference with a sweep and following the win up with a victory at Baylor – the Wildcats’ first in Waco since 2008. The week was a good opportunity to bounce back from a loss to Oklahoma as the team now stands at 15-1, and 2-1 in conference. Pelger has the opportunity to lead #15 K-State to another huge win this Saturday as #9 Texas comes to town. As the football game against KU looks to be over early in the afternoon, fans should have plenty of time to get to Ahearn for the 7 o’clock matchup.
