Kansas State’s volleyball team dropped it’s first match Wednesday, but it’s still awesome. Already this year the team has managed to sweep the Bluejay invitational (taking down Denver, Creighton, and finally Syracuse in the championship, all 3-0) and knock off #10 Minnesota. The team now stands at 12-1 on the season following its 25-27, 19-25, 21-25 series at Oklahoma (12-3, 1-0) to open Big XII play. The ladies return to Ahearn Field House on Saturday to take on Nebraska-Omaha, where they will be awesome again. I encourage everyone to show up Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. to watch three sets (that’s all they’ll need) before gearing up for a massive football showdown in Norman later that evening.
