Welcome to our humble abode. Pull up a seat and grab a glass for a sip from today’s Jug of News. Hit the jump for Brady’s vigilant defense of Kate Upton from a 13 year old mean girl, my statistical analysis of how KSU ended up #6 in the Big 12 media poll, John Hubert adding to the Cats’ individual preseason polls, and more.
Jug Of Snyder columnist Brady Bauman has a PROB-lem. Some 13 year old bee-yotch called Kate Upton “fat” and needless to say, he ain’t happy. Brady defends his girl Kate’s honor, in yesterday’s edition of “Bill Snyder Laughed SO Hard…” It’s some really funny stuff.
The Big 12 released its preseason media poll yesterday. In their brilliance, the media members voted Bill Snyder’s team #6 in said poll. You can guarantee that will be talked about in the KSU locker room at some point. As for me, I talked about it some as well, running some statistical analysis on how the media members managed to put the Cats so low.
Continuing with the football theme, John Hubert got into the preseason watch list act. He was named to the Doak Walker Award watch list. The award is given each year to the best running back in the nation.
Finally, KSU alum Eric Stonestreet was nominated for an Emmy Award. The nomination comes as a result of his work on ABC’s fantastic comedy Modern Family. The nomination is much-deserved, and I think Eric should be a front-runner for the award. He is a truly fantastic actor.
CODA: Kevin Kietzman–and his son, Spencer–are lying liars, who tried to convince people that former K-State great Jacob Pullen is a serial criminal. Just keeping that little tidbit front-of-mind, in hopes that people will pressure them both into issuing a full retraction and an apology.
