Two former Wildcats were chosen to be apart of the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame class of 2011, Mark Simoneau and Kendra Wecker. The ceremony will take place later this year. Another great honor for both athletes that already have a long list of achievements.

Mark collected the third most tackles in K-State history and had a very successful career in the NFL. Mark was one of the first linebackers to really set a trend of talented Wildcat linebackers.

Kendra is the top scorer and rebounder in K-State women’s basketball history, while also holding Kansas state high school records in basketball and track & field.

Other members of the 2011 class include Raef LaFrentz, Bob Frederick, Dick Harp, John Camien, Don Heinkel, Willie Jeffries, and Ronnie West.
